Evans School doctoral student Ziad Zaghrout successfully defended his dissertation earlier this week. Associate Professor Mary Kay Gugerty chaired the committee; other committee members included Professor Leigh Anderson, Adjunct Professor Aseem Prakash (with Political Science), and Near Eastern Languages & Civilization Assistant Professor Selim Sirri Kuru. Ziad will be moving to a faculty position at Bizreit University in Palestine.
