West Coast Poverty Center

The West Coast Poverty Center (WCPC) facilitates nationally significant and locally relevant social policy research by connecting scholars, policy-makers, and practitioners; magnifying the reach of new knowledge; and fostering the next generation of anti-poverty scholars. Students are welcome at WCPC’s seminar series, which features presentations and conversations with policy and poverty researchers. Graduate students may receive credit for attending seminars and completing complementary assignments.

WCPC is a joint venture of the Evans School, the UW School of Social Work, and the College of Arts and Sciences. To learn more, visit WCPC’s website.
