Hear from a panel of inspiring womxn who will elaborate on their experiences in public policy and government.

The University of Washington International City/County Management Association (ICMA) chapter and Evans NOW will soon host their annual Womxn in Government Panel on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. in the Denny Forum, Condon Hall.

The event will begin with a panel discussion moderated by Assistant Professor Karin Martin, Ph.D. and close with an informal mixer.

Panelists include:

Elaine Yeung (Evans School EMPA'12) -- Strategic Community Affairs Advisor, City of Seattle

Velma Veloria -- former WA State Representative, current Coordinator at the Coalition of Immigrants, Refugees, and Communities of Color

Kirstan Arestad -- Executive Director of City of Seattle Council - Central Staff

Teresa Mosqueda -- Seattle City Councilmember Position 8

Candida Lorenzana (Evans School MPA '07) -- Transit and Mobility Division Director at City of Seattle
