Social Evans represents those interested in anti-poverty, education, and other social policy at the Evans School, the University of Washington and the broader Seattle community. By planning, organizing and collaborating academic, social, and volunteer opportunities, our hope is to:

  • Increase general knowledge about social policy issues through a variety of events and networking opportunities
  • Connect graduate students across schools and areas of study to learn about social policy issues
  • Create the opportunity for students to build and strengthen their professional network
  • Promote engagement with students, faculty and staff within and across sectors
