  • Pat Castillo (EMPA ‘15) is the new Director of the National Coalition Institute at the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America.
  • Patrick Chiarelli (MPA ‘11) is an Account Manager at Quinn Thomas.
  • Ana Cortez (MPA ‘91) is the new Assistant City Manager for the City of Yakima. 
  • Ryan Davis (MPA ’13) was selected to be President and CEO of the Corporation for a Skilled Workforce (CSW).
  • Devra Densmore (MPA '11) is now the Director, Advocacy Relations and Department Lead at continuum Clinical.
  • Hayley Edmonston (MPA ’17) is now the Climate Resiliency Fellow of the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District.
  • Viviana Garza (MPA ’17) was hired as a Senior Strategic Data Analyst at SDOT Office of Equity and Economic Inclusion.
  • Alyssa Ha (MPA ‘14) is now a Senior Financial Analyst for the Irving Institute for Clinical and Translational Research.
  • Ryan Kinsella (MPA '10) was promoted to Principal Financial Analyst at the City of Portland.
  • Sarah MacDougall (MPA ’17) is a Fiscal Policy Analyst at the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget in Georgia.
  • Michele Meaker Pin (EMPA ‘18) is the Director of Development & Operations at Nami Eastside.
  • Christine Newman (MPA ‘16) is the Assistant Director at UW Impact.
  • Nancy Patiño (MPA ’16) is a Performance Auditor at the Washington State Auditor’s Office.
  • Josh Sadow-Hasenberg (MPA ‘02) is the new Education Manager at Catholic Community Services.
  • Negash Shiferaw Z (MPA ‘12) is a Senior Projects and Grants Management Officer at ChildFund International.
  • Cooper Smith (MPA ’17) is a Policy Analyst at the Office of the Washington State Attorney General. 
  • Kevin Thompson (EMPA ‘11) is now the Director for Transportation for America.
  • Patrick Tippy (MPA '10) was promoted to Housing Development Manager at Catholic Housing Services of Western Washington.

  • Katie Cullen (MPA ’08) was named Chief Financial Officer of UW Athletics at the University of Washington
  • Nicole DeCario (MPA '16) became Stolen Youth’s first ever Executive Director. She previously worked as the Managing Director of Operations and Special Projects at the Bezos Family Foundation.
  • Suzanne Dale Estey (MPA '01) stepped down as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the Economic Development Council in Seattle.
  • Former State Senator Karen Fraser (MPA ’69, Advisory Board member) was honored by the Government of Japan with the “Imperial Decoration—the order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette” in recognition of her contributions in furthering exchange between Japan and the US by promoting Japanese culture in Washington State.
  • Keyarash Jahanian (MPA '13) started a new position as Research Associate at MIT Teaching Systems Lab.
  • Josh Mahar (MPA ’12) started a new role as Program Analyst at Triangle Council of Governments.
  • Sabra Schneider (EMPA '09) was named Chief Information Officer for the City of Bellevue.
