Professors Cullen, Bostrom, and Scott Presented Research at the SRA Annual Meeting

Last month, Evans School Researchers traveled to the Society for Risk Analysis Annual Meeting in Washington DC.

Professor Alison Cullen presented her work on wildfire risk management and decision making for the panel on “Decentralization: What Might it Mean for Risk Governance” sponsored by the Economics and Benefits Analysis Specialty Group. 

Professor Ann Bostrom chaired a symposium entitled “Integrated research for disaster risk reduction” sponsored by the Engineering and Infrastructure Specialty Group, where she presented research on risk perception and extreme events.

Professor Ryan Scott (2017 Ph.D. graduate of the Evans School, now on the faculty at Colorado State University) presented his paper “Local management and effects on citizen reporting risks and externalities of oil and gas drilling.”
