Bio: Hello I’m Roslyn! I was born and raised in Seattle (feel free to ask me for recommendations on neighborhoods or things to do). I received my B.A. in Sociology at Scripps College in Claremont, CA. Before Evans, I was a City Year Corps member and worked at a youth development nonprofit in Boston. My areas of interest are education policy and social policy. When I’m not busy with school, I enjoy reading, cooking, running, and playing board games.
Why did you choose Evans?: Coming from a liberal arts background, I wanted to gain skills in quantitative analysis and program evaluation. The Evans School stood out to me from other MPA and MPP programs for the strength of its quantitative analysis and management curriculum. I was also struck by the strong sense of community at Evans.
