Covington, LA

Bio: Raised in a suburb of New Orleans, I graduated from Muhlenberg College (a small liberal arts school you’ve never heard of) with a B.A. in Arts Administration and Sociology. I spent a few years after college working in theatre development and at a fundraising consulting firm in New York City.

I’m currently pursuing the Urban Policy track at Evans and am most interested in cultural policy as it relates to equity and community development. I’m also the Treasurer of Evans Partnership for Community and Diversity, a social justice-focused student group. In my free time, I love cooking, running, watching Saints games, and doing stereotypical PNW/outdoorsy things.

Why did you choose Evans?: From my first interactions with the Evans admissions staff and students, I felt welcomed and supported. The Evans School has a really unique balance of friendliness and drive that I didn’t find anywhere else. Coupled with its top-notch academic reputation, I knew that I would be happy and challenged here. And, while it was a little scary to make the move from NYC to Seattle, I’m so happy I did.
