Bio: I am pursuing a dual certificate in nonprofit management and technology entrepreneurship. I am the Founder and Executive Director of a college mentorship nonprofit called Hey Mentor. Prior to Evans, I have worked in college access for over five years. I have worked with hundreds of students across 16 high schools. I am a native Seattleite and earned my B.A. in Law, Societies, and Justice at the UW. Aside from being a full-time student, working for UW Admissions, and managing a nonprofit, I also serve on many nonprofit boards and regional education committees. I have volunteered to provide domestic violence crisis intervention through the Seattle Police Department’s VST program for the past three years.
Why did you choose Evans?: I knew that the connections I make at Evans and in Seattle would be invaluable to the educational and community leadership work that I do in the region. I also like the large selection of specializations and that every student can have a personalized experience while developing core skills.
