A social enterprise executive with twenty years’ experience designing, funding, and scaling public programs, Kari Frame currently serves as the Assistant Dean of Advancement and External Relations at the Evans School of Public Policy & Governance at the University of Washington.
Prior to joining the UW, she served as COO and head of programs at the global mental health organization StrongMinds and Director of External Affairs at the nonprofit bio-tech TB Alliance. Across her career, Kari has managed and grown relationships with advocates, U.S. Government, and corporate and philanthropic partners and launched coalitions of diverse stakeholders.
Kari holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs and a B.A. in Political Science from Amherst College. A Washington native, Kari and her family recently returned to Seattle from the East Coast. She is PTA co-President of her kids’ public school and a peer coach. At other times, you can find her playing softball, taking walks through the Arboretum, or re-reading Agatha Christie.
