Academic Student Employees

Hourly paid Academic Student Employees (ASE) positions pay range starts at $21.57 per hour, and can go as high as $25.00 per hour. Positions that fall under this category are:

  • Reader/Grader
  • Tutor
  • Undergraduate Research Assistant
  • Undergraduate Teaching Assistant

For a salaried schedule 1, 50% FTE ASE appointment, the pay range is $2,984.00 to $3,291.00 per month. Positions that may fall under this category are:

  • Teaching Assistant
  • Research Assistant
  • Predoctoral Instructor
  • Staff Assistant

Hourly Student Assistant

The pay range for an Hourly Student Assistant appointment starts at minimum wage ($20.76 per hour) and can go as high as $25.00 per hour. Open positions can be found on Handshake.
