New Assistant Dean For Advancement & External Relations
Last Friday marked my first full week at the Evans School. I spent it at Party in Parrington, meeting faculty and their spouses, chatting with alumni about how Evans has evolved, and hearing from students about the unexpected directions their capstone projects have taken. It’s hard to imagine a better welcome.
I’m a Washingtonian, an MPA, and a 20 year veteran of the global health sector, and I’m joining Evans as the new Assistant Dean for Advancement and External Relations at an exciting time. The challenges we face as public leaders are many. Evans’s response is to redouble our pursuit of excellence for students, partner with Washington communities to co-design and achieve real impact, and lead the work to rebuild civic trust and engagement.
