First-generation Latina student focusing on representation of minority communities. As the president of Gonzaga’s Association of Latin American students, I am incredibly passionate about the best methods to uplift voices. Coming from a Mexican-American family and the eldest sibling of four, I have learned to how important community building is in our lives.
What is your dream job? What kind of impact do you hope to make?
To work in government or nonprofit press to help the communities that have also supported me.
Who is your favorite public servant and why?
It would be my high school AVID teacher, Ms. Durand, even after graduation she would reach out always checking in on her students.
