Tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Dwight Brown II, and I am a rising fourth year student at the University of Florida double majoring in Political Science and Sociology with a minor in Communication Studies on the Pre-Law track. I am from Jacksonville, Florida. Some of my interests are reading, pickleball, politics and government, and chess. My interest in this program and in public service and creating change heavily stems my own story. My passions for the future revolve around addressing inequality.
What is your dream job? What kind of impact do you hope to make?
My dream job would be President only because of the large impact I want to make, but Supreme Court Justice would be cool too. I hope to one day end poverty.
Who is your favorite public servant and why?
Jamaal Bowman. As a former Representative for New York, I appreciate his passion and his incorporation of his teaching background into his work.
