My name is Graciela Lora. I am a rising senior at The City College of New York. I major in political science and finance. I am a public service fellow at the Moynihan Center. I want to create effective data backed legislation that empowers underfunded communities.
What is your dream job? What kind of impact do you hope to make?
I want to ensure equitable funding that supports underserved communities on as wide a scale a possible. I’m still figuring out the best way to do that for me.
Who is your favorite public servant and why?
Shirley Chisholm because we are both children of immigrants from Brooklyn and I respect the policy she pushed that supports social welfare like WIC.
