The Evans School offers a relevant and exciting introduction to public policy for undergraduate students interested in public service and leadership. In brief, public policy is a course of action taken over a period to deal with social concerns or a public problem. It is a field that examines social, economic, and political aspects of issues. Whether you join a program, the NextGen network, take a course, commit to the Public Policy minor, or choose to study in the Public Service and Policy Major, UW undergraduate students can get the knowledge, skills, and tools to address complex societal challenges and influence policy.
