The Evans School is excited to offer a self-enrolled Canvas page to support undergraduate students from across all three University of Washington campuses who may be interested in pursing a congressional internship. Members of the Washington State Congressional Deligation are currently hiring for summer internship, although internships are available year-round.
Serving as a congressional intern, either in Washington, DC or in a member’s home district, can be a transformative, life-changing experience. But the application process – not to mention the logistics of potentially moving across the country for an internship – can be intimidating. The resources provided in the Canvas site are meant to help you navigate the process of submitting internship applications and navigating the details related to securing a congressional internship.
