Adam Hayes Named 2018 NASPAA Emerging Scholar

Evans School Ph.D. candidate Adam Hayes has been named a 2018 NASPAA Emerging Scholar. This national award recognizes doctoral students who are nearing the end of their studies and are expected to be competitive candidates on the academic job market in the following year. Adam will present his job market paper “Multiplex Network Analysis for Complex Governance Systems Using Surveys and Online Behavior” at the NASPAA Annual Conference in Atlanta this October.

Additionally, Adam was awarded the Pi Alpha Alpha Doctoral Manuscript Award by NASPAA. This award recognizes an outstanding paper by a doctoral student and will also be presented to Adam at the NASPAA Annual Conference in October.

Adam’s faculty advisor (and his nominator for these awards) is Professor Dave Layton. Congratulations, Adam!
