Growing up in England, Istanbul, and Houston got me interested in international studies, where I’ve gotten to learn my native Turkish through the Middle East track. I’m now primarily interested in domestic social policy and excited to learn more at UW!
What is your dream job? What kind of impact do you hope to make?
My dream job is leading a social services nonprofit. I hope to engage people in uplifting their communities.
Who is your favorite public servant and why?
I admire former Senator/Governor of Florida Bob Graham, who connected with his people by working 400+ days, from picking tomatoes to teaching English.
