Tell us a little about yourself?
Zaina is a student at Georgia State University, pursuing a degree in Public Policy with a minor in Political Science. Zaina interned for the Georgia Women’s Legislative Caucus, the office of Chancellor Sonny Perdue, and the Judicial Council of Georgia/ Administrative Office of the Courts during the 2024-26 Georgia Legislative Sessions. Zaina is pursuing a broad range of government/international based opportunities. She has also been elected as the student body president.
What is your dream job? What kind of impact do you hope to make?
To become a diplomat, legislators and just in general working in the government field improving the lives of communities though policy. Overall, I do want to go to back Congo and help improve the country.
Who is your favorite public servant and why?
Patrice Lumumba, who was the first prime minister of DRC Congo. He is my favorite public servant because he did not let intimidation stop him.
