Tell us a little about yourself?
I am a first-generation college student at the University of Rochester studying Politics, Philosophy, and Economics and Black Studies, with a focus on education policy. My experiences navigating systems without guidance shaped my commitment to expanding access and opportunity for others. I am passionate about mentorship, community impact, and creating spaces where people feel supported, seen, and empowered to reach their full potential.
What is your dream job? What kind of impact do you hope to make?
My dream job is to become a governor of a state. I think it would be really nice to be able to have a impact on people at a state level doing something selfless that I don’t think would really feel like a job too me. I hope to leave an impact that Black people should have a voice in the policy around them being able to fuel the future leaders who come after me through my own mentorship group and initiatives.
Who is your favorite public servant and why?
John B. King Jr. is my favorite public servant because he advances equity through education policy.
