Alec Kennedy

Alec Kennedy started the Evans School Ph.D. in Public Policy and Management program in 2012. Prior to joining the program, he received degrees in both economics and statistics from UC Berkeley in 2010. For the next two years he worked as a Research Associate in the Economic Research department at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Alec has a general interest in K-12 education policy. In particular, he has interest in looking at teacher evaluation measures and how they are implemented in schools. In addition, he has interest in studying issues in special education. He hopes to apply his background in econometric and statistical techniques to his research.
