Bio: Devoni currently works next door to the Evans School at Cunningham Hall as the Administrator for Program Operations for the UW Women’s Center! They graduated from the Evans School in June of 2022, with a concentration in Social Policy and a focus on Environmental Justice. After graduation, Devoni has been doing a lot of mutual aid and community connecting in multiple areas, both in a professional, academic, and artistic lens. Despite being a local, Devoni has recently made huge discoveries in their community by entering the Seattle art scene, participating in local craft and vendor fairs. You can also find them roller skating, cooking with loved ones, and taking care of their guinea pigs. 

Why I chose Evans: Devoni appreciates how the Evans School has provided them with multiple opportunities to make and foster connections with their local community, explore multiple concentrations, and take classes outside of the program to obtain a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary perspective.
