Katherine Cheng

Ph.D. Student
Katherine Cheng joined the Evans School Ph.D. program in Public Policy and Management in 2020. She holds Bachelors of Arts in Economics and International Affairs from the University of Georgia; and a Master of Science in Agricultural and Resources Economics from the University of California, Davis. Currently, she is interested in nonprofit strategy and community participation. Prior to joining Evans, Katherine has worked with the Kyle House in Washington D.C. as a legislative assistant, and with several nonprofits in Athens, Georgia and San Francisco, California. In 2019, Katherine conducted fieldwork with women's self help groups in Fortaleza, Brazil as a Fulbright scholar.
