Nicholas “Nick” Hadjimichael joined the Ph.D. program at the Evans School in 2020. Prior to the doctoral program, he earned a Master of Public Policy Analysis from the University of Southern California (USC) Sol Price School of Public Policy. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies and in Economics from the University of Chicago. While at USC, he was a research assistant for the Program for Environmental and Regional Equity (now the Equity Research Institute), conducting research around community power building and the just transition away from fossil fuels. He has also worked for the Independent Evaluation Office of the Global Environment Facility, evaluating the health co-benefits of its Chemicals & Waste portfolio. Nick’s research agenda is focused on environmental health/justice and climate justice.
