A House Oversight subcommittee has opened a probe of all federal contracts negotiated by White House trade advisor Peter Navarro after the Trump administration abruptly canceled the bulk of a $646 million ventilator contract with Royal Philips, Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi, D-Ill., told CNBC on Monday. Assistant Professor Benjamin Brunjes is quoted.
Matt Fowle Awarded 2020 APPAM Equity & Inclusion Fellowship
The Equity & Inclusion Fellowship program supports the participation of students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds at the APPAM Annual Fall Research Conference. Matt will have the opportunity to formally network with the other Fellowship recipients and with members of the Policy Council and Diversity Committee, and 2020 recipients will also have the opportunity to attend and be recognized at the 2021 APPAM Fall Research Conference in Austin, along with the 2021 fellows. The new home of the Office of Student Affairs intentionally centers students within the new building and draws students – past, present, and prospective – in to meet with our incredible Student Affairs staff.

Evans School Support
Gifts to this fund allow for maximum flexibility in current use spending and provide support for visiting lecturers, financial support for deserving students, and recruiting and retaining our distinguished faculty members.
Internships
Experiential Education is a critical part of the Evans School curriculum. The Evans School Internship Fund provides stipends to students who take unpaid/underpaid internships during their time as students at the Evans School so that they can pursue the most meaningful opportunities without worrying how to make ends meet.
MPA Students
The Evans School Fellowships Fund guarantees that the best public policy and governance education is accessible to all MPA students, regardless of economic circumstance. All fellowships from this fund are distributed to the most exemplary students at the Evans School of Public Policy & Governance.
2020 Graduates Selected for UW Bonderman Travel Fellowship
The University of Washington has announced that 2020 Evans School graduates Elizabeth Esborn and Channing Nesbitt were among sixteen students selected for the 2020 Bonderman Fellowship.
