Student Printing

The Evans School operates our own printing system, which is not compatible with the campus-wide DawgPrints system. Because of this, we are able to offer printing services at a significantly cheaper cost to you.

  • $.08 per side for Black & White
  • $.25 per side for Color

However, you cannot use your HuskyCard to pay for printing. The best way to buy print credits is to pay online with your Visa or MasterCard. However, if you wish to pay by check you can do so at the Evans School Finance and Research Services in Parrington Hall, room 303 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on regular business days.

The minimum payment accepted for printing by credit card or check is $20.00. All printing fees are nonrefundable.

You can check your current balance by opening the "Check Printing Balance" shortcut from the desktop of the lab computers.

You can also print wireless from your own Windows laptop by following the tutorial. For Macintosh laptops please refer to this tutorial.

Equipment Checkout

Evans students can checkout laptops, projectors, and other associated equipment from Evans Technology Services. Currently, our supply of equipment is sufficient to meet demand, so no reservations are necessary. Just stop by the office in Parrington 124A between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to checkout what you need. We have the following:

  • Windows 7 Laptops
  • MacBooks (dual boots with Windows)
  • Projectors
  • Remote Presenters/Pointers
  • Assorted Mac display adapters
  • Extension cords

The Evans School provides a Windows Terminal Server for student access to Stata 14 and SPSS 19 for those outside of the Parrington computer labs. The Remote Desktop server address is es-ts.evans.uw.edu and we provide instructions for connecting with Windows Remote Desktop clients.
